I see George Michael is still performing well on the albums charts.
One thing about musicians dying - about the only good thing really - is that it gets some decent material onto the charts.

one more good thing also bob_32....
the music stores order in more of their back catalogue than theyd normal stock instore...
thus we don't have to order the remaining ones we want to purchase that we may have overlooked previously

^^
surprised 3 Doors Down got a bump
has to be from performing at the Trump festivities
I've heard a bit of this guy Bonobo, and some of his music is not bad. Danceable but not in a thump, thump kind of way.
On another note, is there anyone left who has not bought a copy of Rumours?
Perhaps they keep playing it until it wears out, so they have to purchase another copy, meaning that it always stays on the charts.

so, who ended up performing at the "festivities",
all I know is that Elton John and KISS were asked and both turned the gig down

I wouldn't surprise me if Bat Out Of Hell/Dark Side Of The Moon/Thriller/Appetite For Destruction are still lurking in the depths of the US charts also.

^^ Bruce Springsteen is currently playing in Perth so he's unavailable...
Not that I think he would have been likely to accept an offer to fill a slot.
