We have limited the creation of these Best Album Polls to MD moderators. This is only for the sake of uniformity. We would very much like for our members to have some input as to what artist we highlight each week. To that end, please feel free to make an artist request in this thread. I will create a new poll each week, and your requests will receive top priority. I would only ask that you consider the exposure of the the artist you are requesting, in that they must be known well enough by our members that they will feel knowledgable enough to participate. We would prefer artists that are no longer active, or at least that their career is on the decline, in order to have a better overall view of their work. Also they must have produced enough material to evaluate. Let's say a minimum of 5 albums. Live albums or compilation albums will not be considered, unless the live album is only new material. We should also have a cap of maybe 20 albums, as we are limited to 10 per poll, and any artist should be limited to 2 threads. I guess if there are more than that we could weed out the worst to come to 20. But that would be a judgement call.
