To me the following were the low points of the show.
Dixie Chicks
Carrie Underwood
Kasey Musgraves
Kelsi Ballerini
Maren Morris
Miranda was the only Female Artist of the Year award nominee that I care for, so I wish that she had won that award. Also to me, Cole Swindell should've gotten the Best New Artist of the Year award if it couldn't go to Old Dominion or Brothers Osborne because Cole has more songs on the radio than the other nominees. Maren winning with only two songs on the radio right now in my opinion is bull crap and so is Little Big Town getting the Group of of the Year award again when they have not had a big song in over a year now. The competition for that award to me was between, Rascal Flatts, Old Dominion, and the Zac Brown Band who are overlooked every year.
God bless you and the under dogs always!!!

I guess Taylor has become a fullblown "pop artist" with her last two albums "red" and "1989", theres no country on her albums at all now.
I always thought of her as a singer of love songs/ballads on the earlier album, she was never country to me, but guess the industry says she was, so I guess she is/was country.

To me Taylor is an official pop act if she never does another album that is labeled a country release. The question is, what form of music will be on her next album? and where the heck is Shania Twain? Was she asked to be at the show this past Wednesday night? May she be back at some point and better than ever!
God bless you two and Shania and Taylor always!!!

its so sad to watch your musical idols when you know theyre past it and their voices are shot but you just do it anyway out of respect because of who they were.
and I feel your pain because I keep on going back to Willie for the same reasons
