I too have similar feelings. I don't hate him, but I don't like to see his face on the covers. I don't have any specific reasons.

yep, The Nest Day is a terrible album cover considering the amunt of foresight and effort Bowie put into every little thing on every album he made...
PS, I hated that album when I first heard it online at Spotify when it came out, but I kept going back to it over the following 12months because I figured I must be missing something, and right I was, turned into one of his favourites for me so I bought it... also hated "blackstar" when I heard it the day it was released, went out and bought it anyway, by coincidence on the day he died, I figured the same thing....I must be missing something in it, I haven't played it again since I bought it, but I will get round to doing so over the next couple of months, hoping that in hindsight all the words make sense to me. I also thought "lazarus" was terrible when it was released, saw the video a couple of days later, it blew me away, then he died and the song and video made perfect sense! Good question. In our days money can make everything. Few time ago I saw more horrible cover. But I won't post it here, I promise.

[ATTACHMENT NOT FOUND] Some good songs here, probably the best album from their "pop" period, but IMO this is the worst cover of their entire catalogue.
