The Track I'm Listening To Is.......................
The title track from Mike Oldfield's Five Miles Out - love this album cover - glad I have it on vinyl! ...

Sting's "Fragile" - this time by Stacey Kent and the Quatuor Ebène ... a great rendition if maybe not quite as weighty as it was originally intended to be, given the original tribute. Stunning nonetheless, IMNVHO ... Big Grin

This morning it's Edith Piaf. A compilation CD I bought in Paris a couple of years back. A trip down memory lane.
If you ever get the chance listen to Elton John's tribute to her called 'Cage the Songbird' from his magnificent 'Blue Moves' album.

Next up is Kate Bush's 'Lionheart' - have not listened to this in a long time.
Update - had to take this off the player. Disc is skipping like crazy. Next up - Bob Dylan - Modern Times. Can't even remember any tracks from this one since I bought it many moons ago. If I remember correctly it did not hold up well first time around. Oh well - here goes.....
'The purpose of life is a life of purpose' - Athena Orchard.

Gerry Rafferty's "Get it Right Next Time", from Night Owl ... the angelic Mr Ravenscroft doing his bit on the sax ... looks like a super chilled session ...

The fabulous "Orange" from Steve Howe's Time. Just so joyous - an instant mood enhancer (unless you hate instrumental music, and even then ...).
