Vektor "terminal redux"
online Spotify listen:
I had no idea what I was in for with this one,
I just picked it because the cover art was interesting,
anyway, they deceived me...its that screaming/growly metal garbage,
I deserve a medal guys...1 hr and 13 minutes of that crap!
maybe SteveO will like it, but I most certainly do not!
how apt!....i notice the album is released on "earache records"!

I loved this album. On par with their previous; Outer Isolation. It's great technical proggy thrash metal with some black metal bits. One of my favourites from this year. Vektor's riffing and quality arrangement of the songs may be at their peaks in terms of quality, though no song stood out head and shoulders above the rest like Tetrastructural Minds did on their previous one. It's probably their most consistently good one though.

No, I hadn't heard of them. Their album has a high review score on metal-archives, so I'm excited to hear what it holds in the near future.
by the way have you heard the new Agatus? It's heavy metal with some black metal thrown in, check out "The Eternalist"
