So is anyone this year watching the X Factor?
As a married man, I am suckered into watching it. At least, that is what I tell people.
Who do you think will win this year as the live finals start this weekend. Hope John and Edward don't get very far.

Hadn't even heard of it.
Thought that was Britian's Got Talent.
I know there's copycats out there.
So American Idol is a ripoff of X Factor?
I didn't start watching American Idol till 2 years ago. Slow to the scene.
I still won't watch it live. Record it and zap through everything except the performances. So I watch the hour show in about 20 minutes.

We have X Factor in Greece too.It's the second X Factor and it's still at the audition phase.

No, American Idol is a rip off of Pop Idol - and I watch programmes just this way as well!
I have a sort of 30 second rule - if I listen to a singer for more than 30 seconds, then that means I usually listen to the whole song. Unfortunately I can get through the whole programme in a good deal less than 20 minutes sometimes.
I do listen to them for the singing, not the music, though.

I saw it at the time - creepily disturbing. (I hope they win, it'd be funny)
