i find that funny....Kangaroo in France....LMAO!
personally i cant stand Kangaroo, way too 'gamey' for me, but Dani loves it...
i agree with your steak comments also....
BTW....Australian and South African beef is the best in the world no doubt about it....
as i remember.....the chicken and turkey are very good in the UK, but their red-meat sucks.
nothing wrong with the steak and ribs in the US neither, theyre just about on par with with the Aussie/SA IMO.
i havent been to South America so i cannot comment on that.

The worst thing I have ever tasted in Britain and Ireland are their so-called kebabs - it's absolute rubbish. They don't have a clue how to make them. Might as well be chewing a piece of rubber.

Sidney Sheldon - Morning, Noon & Night - 1995
Thought I like Sidney but now I'm not so sure. This is just pop fiction. I remember liking The Other Side Of Midnight but that was so many years ago. Makes me wonder if I would like it now. We'll never find out. This one kept my interest but was just too predictable. Rich guy dies and the kids fight over the loot. To build the suspense, there's a new kid in town and everybody's talking about her. She is from an affair that the rich guy had. I gave you the plot. You can create your own subplots as well as Sheldon did.

Didn't know they made them like this anymore. A classic for me. Set in the mid 1800's, Opens with the death of a black slave owner, then flashbacks of all of the people that made up his life. Excellent writing that got Mr. Jones a Pulitzer prize.

On this one you are as full of shit as a Christmas turkey. You should talk only about what you know something about--utter fail on this. 20+ years of the US being in a warfare state started by this ignorant putz, just to show up his father?--how much more can we stand? If this gets me a "timeout" or thrown off the Board, so be it.
BTW why is being a lefty such a bad thing? The right have utter contempt for the middle-income and lower classes--why are you in favor of them? So you can keep a gun that may well be used against you (look at the verified statistics.)? Meanwhilwe the Right uses your support and the oligarch's money to gerrymander election districts so the can't be effectively challenged. Just wait 'til 2030 or so when Gringos are the minority--such howling and gnashing of teeth you'll hear...and my uproarious laughing.

Geez - calm down. Must have been on the juice last night. A couple of other posts from yesterday have you talking to yourself - you're losing your grip mate.

Very depressing read. Old man laying on his death bed with family around for all of the book. Has flashbacks to when his own father was dying who has flashbacks of when his father was dying. And then they're all dead. The End
