I heard Hot Chip live on the radio so I pursued their music ...classified as Indietronica...Beatle overtones in their music! Here's a track from their latest album Why Make Sense?

Orbital - The Altogether - first track is complete crap! File 13. Don't know if I will make it through the rest of the album. Here goes......
Second track is OK-ish, 3rd track is hyper crap - sounds like Michael Jackson on steroids. Track 4 sounds like someone is having an orgasm at the start then it just falls into a simple 'tune' - some wafting background harmonising which I actually like! Track 5 starts off OK, and then a really crap sounding drum pattern emerges and some stupid human sounds. Pass. Sorry but that's about as far as I am going to go. Will never listen to this again. Something to add to the refuse collection tomorrow morning.

Jean Michel Jarre - Aero - re-workings of some of his more famous tracks. One of my favourites by him.

Jean Michel Jarre - Oxygene - if only I had a dollar for every time I've played this album!

It may be that I don't understand what this Forum is about but I believe this (Bossa Sensual Lounge) is posted in the wrong Forum--makes it harder to find in the future. That said, click on the YT logo, then "Show More" for track and artist listing. Gorgeous playing and singing, as is true of all FeedMe's contributions.

I can just hear CH and MH going - 'Oh God not again!' but this is my favourite electronic composer with his best work. And he throws in a surprise from Oxygene 7-13 as well (The closing piece). Contrary to popular belief, this is NOT pre-recorded or 'mimed'. This is electronic music played live. The reason there are four musicians is he originally recorded this on 8 tracks (4 musicians x 2 hands each = 8 tracks). And live rock n roll music is relatively easy to play compared to this. Live electronic music is a LOT more difficult because machines have to sync properly and vintage synths (like the ones in the movie) are notoriously unstable and prone to temperature fluctuations/'magnetic fields' etc. It's actually amazing that he managed to pull this off as accurately as he did. And you can tell it's live because he makes some obvious mistakes on the Doepfer ribbon controller early on in the concert and you can hear the different synths drifting from time to time. Digital electronics is an exact science - analogue electronics is anything but. Anyway enough of the blurb - on with the show..........(I warned you I wasn't well)
