Don't know who wrote it but there was this song called 'Last Night a DJ Saved My Life'. This track just pushes me over the edge. If ever there was an insipid piece of 'songwriting' then, for me personally, this is it. The lyrics are beyond crap and there is no real music to speak of. It also signalled the start of the decline of intelligent music. After this became popular it meant any third rate effort could be justified with the right marketing. The day the music really died.
