I just found out today that Bernie Mac had died. Surprised me! He was only 50. I found out about it while listening to Steve Harvey. Been watching Guess Who all week but didn't even know about the death. He had complications from pneumonia.

Tough to believe that in this day and age, folks still die of treatable diseases in the First/Second Worlds but they do.
A man accustomed to hear only the echo of his own sentiments, soon bars all the common avenues of delight, and has no part in the general gratification of mankind--Dr. Johnson
What he said. Amen, Bro--JazzboCR

Bernie Mac was in the movie Guess Who in 2005 and died in 2008. If I had not been listening to Steve Harvey I still would not have known. Steve did part of the eulogy. He was in tears. There were alot of people there! The movie won't affect me the same way. Sad!! Bernie Mac was very good in it though!!

Bernie Mac also had sarcoidosis, which may have attributed to his death. Just guessing because my Mom had pneumonia at 81 and recovered. She was in the hospital 9 days. Seems if it was just pneumonia they could have saved him. I don't know. 7,000 people at his funeral.
