Time for one of my rare jazz masterpieces. Yes I love jazz. Just don't have that much. Hey, you can't buy everything. Not so much a fan of the new age/modern jazz, but the traditional variety can just mellow me out. It and classical are my exceptions to the dislike of instrumental music. It doesn't need words. This was recorded in 1964 with McCoy Tyner (piano), Jimmy Garrison (bass), Elvin Jones (drums) and of course, John on sax. Recognized by most as his greatest album, A Love Supreme's spiritual inspiration were John's dedication to God. Divided into four parts, this is meant to be one piece of work, so I cannot say there is a best track. It's all superb. Love finding these old live clips of the masters of the genre. By jazz standards the album sold quite well and is recognized as one of the greatest of all time. John Coltrane passed away in 1967, from liver cancer at the young age of 40.

never really heard much John Coltrane, but these tracks are quite good MH...only heard a bit of each track though, will get back to the whole album on the weekend for a real good listen
