new UK releases for 2nd June....
ne of this week's big album releases comes from Paul Simon. The legendary US singer-songwriter's 13th studio album arrives five years after 2011's Top 10 collection So Beautiful Or So What, and just over a year after his "ultimate collection" topped the album charts.Another key album out this week is a brand new record from The Monkees. Good Times! serves as the band's 12th collection and the first since the death of founding member Davy Jones in 2012; and comes as the band celebrates their 50th anniversary.
Meanwhile, Canadian siblings Tegan and Sara release their eighth record Love You To Death
Ladyhawke's third offering Wild Things is out, and drum n bass DJ/producer Netsky releases his third album,, aptly titled 3.
On the singles front, Shawn Mendes will be hoping to replicate the success of his Number 1 single Stitches with brand new track Treat You Better, and Beck returns with his brand new track Wow. Meanwhile, The Strokes release a new EP titled Future Present Past - their first new material in three years.

"new release" music release from the UK 10th June:
mong this week's big album releases is Tom Odell's Wrong Crowd. The record follows his 2013 debut Long Way Down, which debuted at Number 1 on the Official Albums Chart , and includes the tracks Magnetised and Here I Am.Other new album releases includes Nick Jonas' third solo album Last Year Was Complicated, Beverley Knight's Soulsville, Garbage's Strange Little Birds, and Rick Astley's first studio album in 11 years, 50.

Why has the Anthony Phillips album been remastered I wonder? I already have it on CD with lots of "extras" so I suspect the same extras will be on this new release.
I'd like to get a review of this re-release before I buy it. I do think the drum machine is way too prominent in the original recording, so if that's been rectified I may be interested in this. If so, it would not be the first time I have got a remastered version of a release by a former member of Genesis. The remastered "A Curious Feeling" by Tony Banks sounds much better than the original.
