Not one I have seen but will definitely watch once it's available on DVD or Netflix or whatever. Sophia Loren in 'The Life Ahead'. Sophia Loren is a survivor of the Holocaust, ex-prostitute and a childminder for sex workers who takes in a young boy from Senegal. Foreign language film with subtitles. Apparently she is brilliant in this movie. On my 'to see' list.

LIFE ON THE EDGE
a reality show following the lives of people who live up in the wilds of Alaska...
beautiful in the warmer months but i dont understand how or why people would seriously want to live therein Winter.
its a struggle for survival up there, not living, you are literally 'surviving to stay alive'
and i thought living in the Outer Hebrides seemed inhospitible !

i know, i know...
the Silly Season isnt quite upon us yet but i needed something simple that requires no thought or deep concentration...
its been a terrible year job and healthwise (not just for me but millions of others) and just wanted a bit of cheer in the lead up to Christmas...
roll on 2022 as '21 will probably be a waste also.
good movie,
im a fan of Danny Kaye and Bing Crosby

Golden Eye.
the seventeenth instalment in the James Bond franchise
first of four starring Pierce Brosnan.
never really a big fan of the series but the movies were all okay,
have seen them all except the Daniel Graig ones,
his appearance is a bit to rough to be sauve and sophistocated to be a Bond IMO.
four best Bond movies are the Brosnan ones IMO and Brosnan is my favourite 007.

Gangs Of London
a one season British series.
fictional story of organised crime,
plot:
one 'boss' is executed and his 'family' try to find those responsible with whatever means neccessary...
its brutally and explicitly violent, no holds barred!
a good series with a lot of twists and turns along the way.
not as 'edge of the seat' as i'd expect from a Brit thriller but still pretty good

the episode from 2000's Season-3 entitled: "South Africa"
Louis follows and interviews various Afrikan seperatists including nutcase Eugene TerreBlanche.
great episode...
oh, and "nutcase" is a pretty conservative way to describe TerreBlanche
he who threatens the sword died by the sword (or machete in this case)

THE WOG BOY
an Australian comedy made in 2000, had never seen it...
lots of stereotypes and stereotypical behavior.
totally politically incorrect,
thankfully its 20 years old so it was able to be made
wouldnt get through the censors in this day and age even though it was made by and star 'wog boys' LOL
was a good fun movie.
