so....

by the two and a bit week mark of the Horse Head Tour, MH ans myself had been to the R+R Hall of Fame, Nashville,Memphis and New Orleans, so the evening prior to leaving New Orleans MH asked if i'd mind going to Florida to see his other Daughter's family...it was also an excuse for MH to go see them as he doesnt get to visit very often and i had no problems with that because we had been to all the music places of signifigance(except Motown in Detroit because he said that is not a real safe city to visit...and when locals say that, you tend to listen to them!)...
so off we went on a fourteen hour or so drive to Florida,had to cut through the bottom tip of Alabama to do so...making the total number of States we passed through in total thus so far to six (kentucky,ohio,tennessee,arkansas,louisiana,florida). we pretty much drove along the coast from New Orleans passed Panama City and Apalachicola then on inland to Interstate 75 and on down to Orlando,Florida where we exited the highway to his daughter's house...she was not expecting us as this was a surprise visit.
so from the border of alabama and Florida there are a chain of islands interlinked with road bridges...best way to describe them is being similar to the Florida Keys i guess?!

MH and son-in-law Major Tim 'meet and greet' in the garage of the home we then based ourselves at for the next week!, please note the hire car we drove is the silver one in the driveway...not sure of the make of it now???
