Hard to say...
(in no particular order)
Opeth - Damnation
Silverchair - Diorama
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
Bob Dylan - Desire
Bob Dylan - The Freewheelin' Bob Dylan
Black Sabbath - Paranoid
Dark Tranquillity - Fiction
Eagles - One of these Nights
Megadeth - Rust in Peace
Long Distance Calling - Avoid the Light
And others, I'm sure.

When I think of it, I don't think my favorite albums, are necessarily by my favorite artists or those that contain my absolute favorite songs. Sure, there is some overlap, but a favorite album to me has to be solid, start-to-end. It should flow and be able to be left on repeat for well over the duration of a single, whole listen.
hmm..

Now this is a well-thought-out answer. With the great majority of artists even those we love, the best album is gonna be a "greatest hits" number or two. This question was also asked in a somewhat different manner in another Thread; here's my answer:

1. Willie Nelson "Band of Brothers"
2. Jeff Buckley "Grace"
3. Bob Dylan "Highway 61 Revisited"
4. Holly Williams "The Highway"
5. Elton John "Goodbye Yellow Brick Road"
6. Stevie Wonder "Songs In The Key Of Life"
7. Kris Kristofferson "That Silver Tongued Devil And Me"
8. Johnny Cash "At Folsom Prison"
9. Elvis Presley "Welcome To My World"
10. Ray LaMontagne "Trouble"
11. The Shins "Oh Inverted World"
12. The Lumineers "The Lumineers"
13. Willie Nelson "Heroes"
14. Bob Dylan "Bob Dylan"
15. Creedence Clearwater Revival "Willie And The Poor Boys"
I agree with all your choices. About the question--I'd miss the middle fingers the most...
