it's all that will be on the news today
a break from Trump TV
a great man that Trump loved to belittle
anyone pulling 5 years in a Vietnamese prison camp
after being offered his freedom
a true American hero

Reply
The only reason Trump belittled him was because he knew McCain was a much better man than him.

My favourite story about Burt Reynolds is when he was filming Deliverance. The director decided to put a dummy in the boat to see how the flow of the water would affect the boat and to see what effect it might have on the actors once the scene was shot. While he was filming this Burt Reynolds decided that he would jump in a boat and go down the river for real and amid much protesting from the crew about safety and the danger of doing this unsupervised, he did just that. He thought the footage would be much more effective than using a dummy in a boat to observe the currents etc. He came very close to injuring himself and after he scrambled back onto the bank came up to the director and asked him what the footage was like and what did he see. The director said ' A dummy in a boat'.

He could be quite funny - sad to these old familiars go. R.I.P. Mr Reynolds.

I believe some Australian cartoonist has been called out as racist and sexist because of a cartoon of Serena Williams. Complete rubbish. The bottom line is she lost the plot on the court when she realized she was going to lose the final and basically had a 'meltdown'. The PC brigade are having a field day with this one but in the end they cannot condone her behavior on court. Serena is not entitled to 'win at all costs'. Her little trick of trying to unnerve Osaka did not work. In fact, it backfired spectacularly. That's karma for you. Incidentally, Osaka's style of playing reminds me a lot of Graf in her heyday. Watch this space...….
