NEW AND NOTABLE: upcoming albums

this didn't take long

Reposting my opinion as my other one was accidentally deleted:

Such a disgusting act and a gross situation. I don't agree with many of Charlie's opinions but he doesn't deserve too die for some political opinions. Violence isn't justice.

That was true; it first showed up for me then. But I double-posted by accident, so I went to delete one but accidentally deleted both.

^Frightening!

David Gray is set to release an album of archival material on 27th March titled Nightjar, which will be a companion to 2005's Life in Slow Motion. Based on the teaser, I think it might be my kind of thing. I wouldn't rave about the whole of LISM but there were some good tracks on it, I thought - lovely opener. Here's that track from Nightjar ...

Tori Amos is releasing In Times of Dragons on May 1st if I'm not mistaken. This is with her daughter, Natashya Hawley ...

Paul McCartney  "the boys of dungeon lane"

title references an area of Liverpool down by the River Mersey where Paul used to play as a child.
John actually referenced it on "the white album" in "glass onion" when he mentioned "the cast iron shore" in the song lyrics.

judging from the lead off track "days we left behind" and the album title it is rumoured to be a very reflective album with Paul looking back on his childhood and early teenage years.

Paul also plays every instrument on the album.
