It’s week three at the top of the ARIA Singles Chart for James Arthur’s ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’. Arthur’s album Back From The Edge could figure in next week’s Albums Chart following its release on 28 October.
A jump of 12 spots to #4 for ‘Shout Out To My Ex’ has given Little Mix their second top five on the ARIA Singles Chart. It’s one spot below the peak position reached by ‘Wings’ (#3 Nov. ’12).
This week’s Singles Chart also includes new peaks for Bruno Mars’ ‘24K Magic’ (up two to #7), Maroon 5’s ‘Don’t Wanna Know’ (up ten to #11), Zara Larsson’s ‘Ain’t My Fault’ (up seven to #17), Nevada’s ‘The Mack’ (up ten to #20) and Cheat Codes & Dante Klein’s ‘Let Me Hold You (Turn Me On)’ (up four to #38).
Debuts:
#18: Peking Duk Feat. Elliphant ‘Stranger’ – Canberra electronic duo Peking Duk return to the top 50 for the first time in 2016 with ‘Stranger’. The follow-up single to ‘Say My Name’ (#29 Jul. ’15) features vocals by Swedish artist Elliphant.
#33: Neiked ‘Sexual’ – Swedish producer Victor Rådström, aka Neiked, makes his ARIA top 50 debut with ‘Sexual’. Featuring British artist Dyo on vocals, the track has already charted in the UK, Ireland, Sweden and several other European countries.
#40: Drake ‘Fake Love’ – Drake scores his sixth top 50 as lead artist in 2016 with ‘Fake Love’. The track comes from the forthcoming album More Life, which is set for release in December. Drake’s other chart entries this year have been with ‘Summer Sixteen’ (#25 Feb. ’16), ‘One Dance’ (#1 May ’16), ‘Pop Style’ (#44 Apr. ’16), ‘Too Good’ (#3 Jun. ’16) and ‘Controlla’ (#46 Oct. ’16).
#46: Frenship Feat. Emily Warren ‘Capsize’ – The top 50 debut for American electronic duo Frenship. ‘Capsize’ comes from the Californians’ debut EP Truce and features vocals by singer-songwriter Emily Warren.
#47: Zay Hilfigerrr & Zayion McCall ‘Juju on that Beat (TZ Anthem)’ – American rappers Zay Hilfigerrr & Zayion McCall make their debut with ‘Juju on that Beat (TZ Anthem)’. The track, which has already hit #11 in the US, features the duo freestyling over the 2004 track ‘Knuck If You Buck’ by American hip hop group Crime Mob.
#50: Andy Grammer ‘Fresh Eyes’ – Andy Grammer picks up his second ARIA top 50 appearance with ‘Fresh Eyes’. The first single from Grammer’s forthcoming third album hits the chart just over two years after the singer-songwriter made his debut with ‘Back Home’ (#27 Jul. ’14).

After scoring her debut #1 last week, Jessica Mauboy holds the top spot for a second week with The Secret Daughter (Songs From The Original TV Series).
Following the release of the deluxe edition of Sia’s This Is Acting, the album has re-entered the top 50 at #12.
In its second week in the top 50, Andre Rieu’s Falling In Love has moved up seven spots to #20.
Guns N' Roses’ Greatest Hits is back up 12 spots to #38.
Debuts:
#2: Lady Gaga ‘Joanne’ – With her first solo album in three years, Lady Gaga picks up her second consecutive #2 debut on the ARIA Albums Chart. Released as the follow-up to Artpop (#2 Nov. ’13), Joanne features the tracks ‘Perfect Illusion’ (#14 Sept. ’16) and ‘Million Reasons’ (#37 Oct. ’16). In between solo albums, Lady Gaga teamed up with Tony Bennett for the album Cheek To Cheek (#7 Sept. ’14).
#3: Michael Buble ‘Nobody But Me’ – The ninth studio album from Michael Buble gives the Canadian crooner his seventh top three on the ARIA Albums Chart. The follow-up to To Be Loved (#1 Apr. ’13) features Meghan Trainor and Black Thought of The Roots.
#4: Elvis Presley ‘The Wonder Of You: Elvis Presley With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra’ – Following on from If I Can Dream (#1 Nov. ’15), The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra has reworked more Elvis Presley tracks for The Wonder Of You. The album includes new arrangements to classic Elvis songs such as ‘Always On My Mind’, ‘Suspicious Minds’, ‘Kentucky Rain’ and ‘Let It Be Me’.
#5: Korn ‘The Serenity Of Suffering’ – American nu-metal veterans Korn pick up their eighth top ten on the Albums Chart with The Serenity Of Suffering. The band’s twelfth studio album and follow-up to The Paradigm Shift (#7 Oct. ’13) is their first top five since Untouchables (#2 Jun. ’02).
#6: Leonard Cohen ‘You Want It Darker’ – The legendary Leonard Cohen returns with his fourteenth studio album, You Want It Darker. It becomes the Canadian singer-songwriter’s third consecutive studio album to chart in the top ten, following on from Old Ideas (#2 Feb. ’12) and Popular Problems (#6 Oct. ’14).
#8: I Prevail ‘Lifelines’ – Lifelines is the debut album from Michigan post-hardcore band I Prevail. Formed in 2013, the band previously released the EP Heart Vs. Mind in 2014.
#13: The Koi Boys ‘Meant To Be’ – The Albums Chart debut for Gold Coast-based vocal trio The Koi Boys. The former Voice contestants’ debut album features covers of tracks by The Weeknd, Passenger, Bee Gees, Drake and more.
#16: Pentatonix ‘A Pentatonix Christmas’ – Texan a cappella quintet Pentatonix grab their fourth entry in the ARIA top 50 with A Pentatonix Christmas. The follow-up to Pentatonix (#5 Oct. ’15) is the group’s second Christmas album after That's Christmas To Me (#21 Dec. ’14)
#23: Katy Steele ‘Human’ – Little Birdy frontwoman Katy Steele heads out on her own with debut solo album Human. Steele last appeared on the Albums Chart with the Little Birdy album Confetti (#6 May ’09).
#27: Jimmy Eat World ‘Integrity Blues’ – American indie veterans Jimmy Eat World return with album nine Integrity Blues. It’s the band’s fifth consecutive top 50 appearance. Their highest peak to date has been with Invented (#21 Oct. ’10).
#29: Graves ‘Monster’ – Wollongong metalcore band Graves make their ARIA Charts debut with Monster. The quintet formed in 2011. They’ll be touring in support of the album in December.
#33: The Pretty Reckless ‘Who You Selling For’ – The third album from American rock band The Pretty Reckless and their second to hit the top 50. They first charted with second album Going To Hell (#20 Mar. ’14).
#39: Ange Boxall ‘Into The Wind’ – Tasmanian country artist Ange Boxall makes her ARIA top 50 debut with Into The Wind. It’s the singer-songwriter’s third studio album.
#48: NxWorries ‘Yes Lawd!’ – The debut album from LA-based NxWorries. The hip hop duo consists of Knxwledge and Anderson .Paak. Their first EP, Link Up & Suede, was released in late 2015.

UK music charts for week ending 4th November 2016:

James Arthur’s incredible comeback is complete today as he lands straight in at Number 1 on this week’s Official Albums Chart.The singer-songwriter’s second album Back From The Edge debuts at the top with combined sales of 41,000. The record includes the single Say You Won’t Let You, which hit the top spot for three weeks in September/October.

Celebrating with OfficialCharts.com, James said: “To have a body of work go to Number 1… it’s the ultimate sense of achievement. Thank you so much to everyone who has bought it.”
Back From The Edge is James’ first Number 1 record and other than Leona Lewis, he’s only the second X Factor winner to top the Official Chart with their second album, after Leona’s 2009 album Echo. Click here to view James Arthur’s complete Official UK Chart history.
[h=4]New entries and high climbers[/h]Two albums debut inside this week’s Top 5: The Courteeners’ fifth album Mapping The Rendezvous at 4, and Madness’ Can’t Touch Us Now enters at 5 – their highest charting long player in seven years.
Singer-songwriter Jack Savoretti is new at Number 6 with his third album Sleep No More, Pointless presenter Alexander Armstrong finishes at 8 with Upon A Different Shore, and Robbie Williams’ Greatest Hits is back in the Top 10 for the first time in 10 years at Number 9.

Roy Orbison's The Ultimate Collection and Daniel O'Donnell's I Have A Dream just miss out on a Top 10 placing this week, entering at Numbers 11 and 12 respectively. US heavy metal band Avenged Sevenfold finish just behind them at 13 with their surprise album The Stage.
LeAnn Rimes makes a return to the albums Top 40 for the first time in nine years this week with Remnants (15), Black Sabbath’s The Ultimate Collection is new at 20, David Gray’s Best Of debuts at 30, and UK rapper Mic Righteous is at 34 with Dreamland. Finally, Tove Lo’s second album Lady Wood bows a 40.

UK singles chart for week ending 4th November 2016:

Looks like Little Mix aren't planning to break up with the top of the Official Singles Chart any time soon – Shout Out To My Ex is still all loved up at the Number 1 spot for the third time this week.
Little Mix, who are set to tour the UK next year, officially have the most Number 1 singles of any X Factor winner, with four chart-toppers under their belt.

Bruno Mars makes a jump into the top 10 with his 24K Magic.

Australian music charts for week ending 5th November 2016:

James Arthur’s ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’ hits week four at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart. Arthur’s second album Back From The Edge has debuted at #8 on this week’s Albums Chart.
A move of two spots for ‘Don’t Wanna Know’ has given Maroon 5 their ninth top ten single on the ARIA Charts. They first hit the top ten with ‘This Love’ (#8 May ’04).
Nevada’s ‘The Mack’ is one spot away from cracking the top ten, having jumped from #20 to #11 this week.
In its second week in the top 50, Drake’s ‘Fake Love’ moves up 22 spots to become the Canadian rapper’s third top 20 single for 2016.
After debuting at #33 last week, Neiked’s ‘Sexual’ has moved up 12 spots to hit #21.

#48: Rag'N'Bone Man ‘Human’ – British singer-songwriter Rag'N'Bone Man makes his ARIA Charts debut with ‘Human’. The track has already charted highly in Europe, including #1s in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.

ALBUMS:


Jessica Mauboy’s The Secret Daughter (Songs From The Original TV Series) notches up its third straight week at the top of the ARIA Albums Chart. It’s the longest run of consecutive weeks in the #1 spot on the Albums Chart in 2016.
In their second week on the chart, both Michael Buble’s Nobody But Me and Elvis Presley’s The Wonder Of You: Elvis Presley With The Royal Philharmonic Orchestra have moved up one spot to #2 and #3, respectively.
Delta Goodrem’s Wings Of The Wild has climbed 36 spots to #13.
With the release of The Complete Whispering Jack 30th Anniversary, John Farnham’s former #1 has re-entered the chart at #22. The album spent a total of 25 weeks at #1 during 1986 and 1987.
Drake’s Views is the week’s second-highest re-entry, returning at #28.
Debuts:
#4: Avenged Sevenfold ‘The Stage’ – The seventh album from Avenged Sevenfold gives the Californian metal band a third top ten appearance on the ARIA Albums Chart. The follow-up to Hail To The King (#2 Sept. ’13), The Stage is a concept album.
#7: Empire Of The Sun ‘Two Vines’ – Australian electronic duo Empire Of The Sun return with their third album, Two Vines. It’s the band’s third top ten album, following on from Walking On A Dream (#6 Feb. ’09) and Ice On The Dune (#3 Jun. 13). The album features contributions from Fleetwood Mac's Lindsey Buckingham and Wendy Melvoin of The Revolution.
#8: James Arthur ‘Back From The Edge’ – With ‘Say You Won’t Let Go’ sitting at #1 on the Singles Chart for a fourth straight week, James Arthur picks up his first top ten on the Albums Chart with Back From The Edge. #20: Tkay Maidza ‘Tkay’ – The debut album from Adelaide hip hop artist Tkay Maidza. Prior to Tkay’s release, Maidza released the 2014 EP Switch Tape. American rapper Killer Mike appears on the single ‘Carry On’.
#21: Tove Lo ‘Lady Wood’ – Tove Lo picks up a new Albums Chart peak with Lady Wood. The Swedish singer-songwriter’s second album comes two years on from Queen Of The Clouds (#47 Oct. ’14) and features the single ‘Cool Girl’ (#30 Sept. ’16).
#24: Testament ‘Brotherhood Of The Snake’ – American thrash metal band Testament make their top 50 debut with Brotherhood Of The Snake. It’s their eleventh studio album, following on from 2012’s Dark Roots Of Earth. They released their debut, The Legacy, in 1987.
#50: A$AP Mob ‘Cozy Tapes: Vol. 1 Friends’ – The debut album from New York hip hop collective A$AP Mob. It features guest appearances by Wiz Khalifa, Tyler The Creator, Skepta and more.
