That is the problem with a phone. I generally change the music I carry on my phone. Whatever I'm listening to at the moment .... My ipod has all my music and I take that for long trips, but if I'm just going out, it's my phone.

An Ipod 'Nano'. I have tried various versions of these things and the old 'walkman's' as well. The quality on all these devices is crap. In order for a listener to get a real sense of immersion in sound, the speakers need to be able to move a certain volume of air (that's what speakers do). These devices cannot do that. The upper end of the audio spectrum is tinny and harsh and the bottom end is boosted to make you think it has 'body' to it but it does not.

My iPod is my favorite thing. I have an 80gb classic. Recently, I thought I lost it, and well I cried. Really. But I found it. I am always using it, unless I am in my house. The minute I grab my keys to go out, my headphones are in.

My "iPod" is actually an old iPhone 5 with a cracked screen and most of the apps and other content deleted. I also have all of my favorite songs and songs I like a lot on my iPhone and also have an iPad with music on it as well.
I use my iPod iPhone almost every day. It goes from home stereo to car on my commute, to listening in the office, back to the car and back home every weekday.
Since my iPod is old I use Spotify on my iPhone when I want to listen to newer music and try newer albums. My Spotify account is on hold now but I'll be activating it again soon.
