Sorry it took me so long to get back in here, been busy with work for a while. Anyway, I prefer classic Bruce. There were only 2 or so songs on this album that really sounded like that. The rest just .... lacked edge or something. I'm not quite sure how to describe what it is that I don't like.

i thought Wrecking Ball was closer to "classic" Bruce than most of his albums after Born In The USA....?

Maybe. It was just a bit too folksy or something for me. I mean, I like that kind of music, but when I like an artist, I don't like them changing it up too much. I like them for their sound.

One thing I like about Bruce Springsteen, he still manages to be entertaining no matter what sound he has.

$115 is outstanding for a 3hr concert SteveO....invest and go see him....!
i tell you all now that if The Boss toured here i would pay whatever it costs to get a ticket to see him live!...shame i'd be going on my own though as Dani dislikes Bruce immensely!

I have them all too and I agree that Wrecking Ball is up there. I love what he did with the songs Wrecking Ball and Land Of Hope And Dreams. I'm not even sure I can pick a favorite on the album because each one has something. Jack Of All Trades hit me when I first heard it because it reminded me of my Dad and the kind of man he was. I wasn't crazy about Rocky Road at first because of the 'rap' but now I love the song. And You've Got It has such a sexy vibe to it. Love it this album!
