This guy is just so ignored and underrated but his contribution the the world of popular music is as big as Spector or George Martin.

Notorious....a good movie about the life of Rapper Biggie Smalls/Notorious B.I.G, im not a huge fan of rap but this is a good movie overseen in production by Biggie's mum, chronicles his childhood through to his murder...

There are some excellent Joe Meek productions and that guy's life was xxxx rated to say the least....................he was not unusual in his time ................many were like him out to find a pretty boy !

Amadeus is a really good film about Mozart... I suggest it even if you're not into classical music.

Although it doesn't really focus on the life of a musician but a music lover its still a great film: High Fidelity with John Cusack. Its a great film for music lovers, one of Jack Blacks earlier ones, and very relate-able to if your a bit of a music anorak
