Very much so. I have discovered many fantastic albums over the years based purely on the artwork. BTW, the converse is also true.

Not anymore. I used to before the ability to sample music became so prevalent. A Roger Dean cover was an automatic buy for me for quite a while, but it didn't always work out how I had hoped.
