I chose Moving Pictures though I think my favorite song is The Spirit of Radio. Not a huge Rush fan....

Rush is one of my favorite bands and Permanent Waves is incredible. The Spirit Of Radio is a good catchy tune, Freewill has Alex's best guitar solo on it, Jacob's Ladder is just crazy, Entre Nous is one of Neal's best lyrical accomplishments, Different Strings is really beautiful, and Natural Science is one of their best epics, save for 2112 and the Necromancer.

Had to go with Signals. I can listen to that whole album, no issues, no skipping a song at all. A different Rush.. a connection to the progressive late 70s Rush with The Weapon. And bridging to the full-on keyboard era with most of the songs. It's a tough call though with my favorite chuck of songs, Moving Pictures B-side (Camera Eye, Witch Hunt and Vital Signs) and I do love my By-Tor and Cygnus's (cygnus x-1 and hemispheres)

I voted for Moving Pictures ...based on the strong track Tom Sawyer. However my favorite is their live album Exit Stage Left.
The ultimate connection is between a performer and its' audience!

Moving Pictures gets my vote, I'm not the biggest Rush fan but it doesn't stop me from owning 11 of their albums lol.

It's not easy to vote for the best album when it's about Rush. They have made so much good music! I give my vote to their "Fly by Night" album. I also do like their album "2112" alot.:canada:

Fly by Night was superb. 2 of my all time favorite Rush songs are on this album. "The End" and "By-Tor and the Snow Dog".

2112 is awesome, I even try not to lose moments when it's 21:12 on clock)
