both BBC and CNN seem surprised by Trump's showing at this stage.
seems to be neck-and-neck in most States at this stage.
going to go down to the wire either way.

In theory both candidates still have a chance of winning but it looks like Nevada will get Biden over the line if all current predictions are correct. It does not matter if Trump wins all the other states. That will only get him to 268 electoral votes. Trump has to win all the remaining states to win, including Nevada. It's going to be close but it looks like Biden is going to edge him out.
It's a crazy system. Why not simplify it and base it on the popular vote.
In another interesting article I heard on the radio. By 2050 whites will be a minority in the United States. The UK is headed for the same situation.

Regardless of the result now, the pollsters got it massively wrong yet again.
No landslide victory for VP Biden by any means.
They need to re-evaluate their polling methods and how they interoperate it.

A poll is just someone's opinion. Not reliable at all. The political pundits said Hillary had an 85% chance of winning in 2016. They gave Trump a 15% chance of winning. The bookies initially said Biden would win but then changed their mind when the results started coming in. Somebody is going to make a killing on this. Not me unfortunately as I am not a betting man at all. Never placed a bet in my life. But I did win 24 bucks on the National lottery last night. Yippee...

how many of the last five States do you think he can pick up mate?
or more importantly, how many more College votes can he get?
and with College votes
does whoever win the State get all votes available or is it a case of splitting College votes depending on vote % or win/loss ratio.
ie: if there are 20 votes available in a State, does the winner get all votes or if the vote total was like 55% to 45% could they be split 12-8 or similar?
