^ I've been a bit dismissive of AMLOR, and TDB, but they are actually both good records. It's just that the lyrics are so poor, when you've been used to RW's input.

THE BEATLES "help"1965.
its a Beatles album, therefore it is full of classic songs....sorry,but thats the facts and it contains the most recorded song in history, 'yesterday', and what i consider to be Paul's best Beatles song 'ive just seen a face'. its a classic album with fourteen classic tracks.
enough said!

NO COVER ART
AVAILABLE
NEIL SEDAKA "greatest hits" 1977.#143US #61AUST: vinyl borrowed from my parents collection.
Neil is one of those artists who didnt recieve the chart success he deserved of a man of his talent, yet, everybody seems to know his songs and can sing along to the majority of them. and many people dont realise the hits he wrote for other people, similar to Willie Nelson in that respect.
a writer of beauty, happiness and positive outlook, is what Neil is.
this is a 1970s best of set and it does include two US #1 hits, strangely enough,Sedaka never scored a #1 hit in the UK or AUST either on the singles or album charts, yet performs sellout shows in both those countries???
he is a master of writing three minute pop songs and few are in his league as a writer.
I LIKE NEIL SEDAKA, AND THIS ALBUM

One of The Stones' lesser albums IMV.
Not their most impressive effort, and relatively hit-free, but still some very good songs.
It sounds like they were kicking back and enjoying themselves a bit.
Allmusic 5/5 stars.

you've surprised me Tiggi????
a 'lesser' album?
how is it possible to have less than what they normally release?

Subjective judgements and all that.
If your starting point is that their best is crap, then I can understand your point. That starting point would be ill-informed, however, and my assessment is, of course, correct .

Still the prime Stones years for me.
Different track listing on U.S. version though, including Ruby Tuesday, one of my all time favorites.

im only joking, i have numerous Stones singles...mainly from the 1960s and three of their albums and a best of set.
they're just easy targets to have a go at
