MARK KNOPFLER & EMMYLOU HARRIS "all the roadrunning" cd, 2006:

a collaboration album...
a hint of country and bluegrass but mostly folk sounding on here...
Mark wrote all but three, Emmylou the others...
album took seven years to make overall as time didn't permit them to be in the same place
at the same time for any length of time...
love the way Mark's almost gravelly voice blends with Emmylou's angelic tones throughout this one...
still prefer his collaborative album with Chet Atkins over this one but as usual with Knopfler,
another classy effort...
album peaked at #1 in several Euro countries and top ten in the other ones, peaked at #17 in the
US and #41 in Australia, would have thought it would have peaked higher than 17 in the US though...

I saw To Joey With Love a few days ago.
Great documentary but so sad. The ending made me cry.

Rory and Joey had such a great life together.
Very successful in whatever they endured. Never knew that about them.
Makes me wonder why the Lord takes people like Joey away so soon.
She had so much to give and seemed to be such a loving person.
Did not know their baby has Downs Syndrome.
My best to Rory and the baby in the future. So sorry they lost Joey!!
Enjoyed the music in the documentary!!

For anyone who has not seen the program, it is well worth your time.
