...And what is the group you're referring to?

Renee Geyer (Post #309) Having a problem replying with quote so I'm going this way.
Racism is racism and always despicable. No time for the other -isms either--they don't lock them out--they lock you in. My 2 cents. Anyway here's her Website: http://www.reneegeyer.com.au/ and the wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ren%C3%A9e_Geyer Going long with some tunes--she's that good and that varied.

I mentioned that I'd ordered a Peter Green era Best of to Robbie that I work with. Yesterday he handed me a package of nine PG/Fleetwoods CDs, and this is the first of them to get an airing.

Went for this one as it contains Man of The World which I've fallen for in a big way.

Cracking compilation...

...And live at the Beeb at that: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PyHUwnWstDk

There is an album floating around of the original band 'blues' line-up playing 'live' at the Boston Tea Party Club in 1970 on the CASTLE Communication label from 1989 called Fleetwood Mac: The BLUES COLLECTION that I picked up for a few dollars back in the early nineties.

This very disc is available for about the same price he paid (inflation factored in). Talk about a love'm/hate'm or hate'm/love'm group!

It's Cold man Cold! Cool

Interesting player, this Tony Copeland. Here's one aspect: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-_Lm9V5YikM Here's another: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xNcJ25ldHw4 << I believe he plays in Houston, Texas. Tragedy in his background: younger brother murdered, causing Mr. Copeland to drop out of music and drift for a decade--that'll get you the Blues down deep...

Now here's something interesting--check his wiki for whom he's worked with/for. I don't know what the WTFFF* to call his music (quite the eclecticist is Mr. Adamson)--let's settle on "BA music". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barry_Adamson Couple of tunes: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Hn2RmY7lfks and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1S2YbTy6XmM and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F_pGK3cdI54 << love the album name

* nothing naughty--it's "...flaming fricaseed flamingo"

This is as post-modern as it gets and still be listenable: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CD3Q060KI28 and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9IA86jZSq8 << then he jams up your expectations by going melodic and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mLQshp626t8 << strapping on a Blues (his way, natch)--quotes nicely, doesn't he?
This one is truly odd: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YpKT_eeCVNI << tough to take your eyes away from this
