the tracks on here are very autobiographical in nature as he looks back on his life,excpet the final track "skanky" which is an instrumental...
guest appearances on the album from Memphis Horns,BB King,Santana amongst others...
Buddy won a Grammy for "best contemporary blues album" for this one, the sixth one of his career....
this album was also his highest Billboard charting album of his career peaking at #46
