Sometimes I want to listen vocal music without care for the words. In the case of Senegalese singer, Ismaël Lô, it’s almost not necessary to understand what he’s singing about, and easy enough to interpret as one wishes, based on that gorgeous emotive voice, and the tone and pace of the music.
I find his music soothing … already have Iso (his nickname growing up) and Jammu Afrika, but have been listening to some of his other albums, Dabah, and Sénégal, both of which are going on the wishlist …
