7th studio album - #66 US
singles - It Was My Season - #20 US, #12 UK, #7 AUS, #55 CAN
.............Down Down The Deep River
.............On A Balcony - #66 UK, #26 AUS, #69 CAN
.............Where The Spirit Left Us
Good alt band here. Seven albums deep and this is my first one. Might deserve some deeper digging. Although my score here wasn't that
impressive, some play would remedy that. Very inteligent lyrics and the liner notes lay them out in a story fashion. Not big on catchy chorus
hooks. This is the bands first label switch but I have nothing to compare to regarding a change in style which sometimes happens when that
occurs. Change in band members have happened so often with this band, that they have to have had a change in sound over the 14 years as a band.
It says this is a concept album but it's rare I can put that together. They were just good songs but for 2. Can't believe my fav didn't even chart.
I LIKE THIS ALBUM
Worst Track - Lido Pier Suicide Car
Best Track - Down Down The Deep River
