Way too much time on the train ride to and from work this Summer, so I finally made the plunge and tried an e-book.

"Power, Passion, and Beauty: The Story of the Legendary Mahavishnu Orchestra" by Walter Kolosky
Speaking strictly from a writing standpoint, its not anything special. The organization is kind of weird, there's way too many exclamation points for my liking, it comes across like a high schooler wrote it. But, in terms of what's in there? Kolosky scoured the Earth and has a ton of info. Its a really enjoyable read in that sense. So long as you like the Mahavishnu Orchestra. If you don't, you probably won't care to read it (which should be kind of obvious anyway).
