RUMER "boys dont cry" cd,2012.
did this one as a new release back in early 2012, liked it so i bought it...
this is Rumer's second album, her first, "seasons of my soul" was superb IMO,all tracks were originals, this one however, is a covers album, now fortunately for me i dont know the originals so this is an original album to me!
i love her voice also,so mellow and relaxing IMO(karen carpenter has the same effect on me)
i cant rate anything here as a 'love' score because i know they are covers...just dont want to say i love anything then go and hear the originals then turn around and look like an idiot when i revisit these tracks..nothing on here i dont like neither which gices the album an overall score of 2.0
not doing all the tracks here, but here are a couple of tracks that i really, really like...

Nice find and share. Here's that song with the guy who wrote it, Darryl Hall, during his Webcast: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=S-ivYeMUhME How about another from the same session?: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5hzeKlRYNM

And no spring chicken this but a fascinating backstory: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rumer_%28musician%29
