Radney Foster Name's unknown to you prolly but not to all the C&W stars that have sung his songs. He's got 10 albums on his own + 5 more with Bill LLoyd, and with another coming out soon (his first in 5 years). A Nashville stalwart who chucked all the trappings to come home (his first solo disc has his birthdate and place as a title). A different, sometimes hard-nosed take on love, living and such. Also hosts a cross-genre show on CMT: http://www.cmt.com/show/cmt_crossroads/s...l#moreinfo Here's Mr. Foster's wiki: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Radney_Foster Here's some tunes:

A man accustomed to hear only the echo of his own sentiments, soon bars all the common avenues of delight, and has no part in the general gratification of mankind--Dr. Johnson
