I'm not sure "artist" is the correct term, as 99% of pop is manufactured.

So many choices...Most recently, I'd have to say Secondhand Serenade. The whiny voice...The cliches...The horror...

A song like "Fall For You" encapsulates almost everything that's wrong with music these days: all whining and no substance.
