She was working in a bar and Big and Rich happened to stop by. She also sang at the bar in a very small town she lived. John heard her and was sold. She thought he was BSing her when he offered her a job on the spot. She didn't even know who he was but as fate would have it she took him up on his offer and the rest is history.
