the thing i find most astonishing about The Fab Four is that if you listen to their albums in chronological order there is a definate and remarkable natural progression in their writing on each album both lyrically,vocally and musically
i thinkive always said on this forum that The White Album, Abbey Road and Revolver are my three favourites...and each time i hear them just reinforces that....
as for people saying,"the white album would have made a brilliant single album"...i dont think it would have, it wouldnt have been the white album had it not have been what it is....i really think John Lennon was at his best on this one(overall) and Paul wasnt far behind him!
