These guys surely qualify as a one hit wonder, and it's not on this album. The worst part of
this post is, like CH said, having to listen to parts of the songs again in order to post them
here. I hear ya mate. This is the Michigan bands debut album and I can't believe they got a
follow up. Sounds like a bad garage band. Can't decide which is worse here, the originals (Do
The Bosco) or the covers (Rockin' Robin). Guess I'll go for the cover as I don't much care for
the original of that song either. The butchering of Rick Nelsons Hello Mary Lou was pretty hard
to take also. Didn't know that was written by Gene Pitney. CCR does a good cover of that.
The group lasted for 9 years and 7 albums. They hit it big in '73 with Smokin' In The Boys Room,
then it was the slide, rightfully so, at least based on this album.
