SIA "colour the small one" cd,2004
Sia, Aussie songstress, now living in the UK...
this is her third album...and released before she went all DJ-ish and club-dance on me....
they called this one electronic-folk when it came out..yeh, electronic beats/instuments, yet folky at the same time....
very haunting lyrics and vocals on this one, with an intimate, vunerable style, maybe like Laura Marling, but nowhere near as good overall...
track 2, "sunday" starts off with a familliar intro, not unlike 'strawberry fields forever', do not like that part, but my favourite one here anyway...
i used to like this one but time has not fared well on the album IMO, sounds outdated and 'old hat' now,but still several not bad tracks on it...
I DO NOT LIKE THIS ALBUM
