I know how you feel mate, as we had to have a dog put down this year. Ours was a healthy puppy who demonstrated unreasonable levels of aggression, and I blubbed like a baby when we took him.

He's laying down behind me at the present time having a snooze which is fine. His doctor told me not to let run around chase after balls or go for long walks for awhile to which I said, "That's fine, because I can't take him for walks and I am unable to run around throwing balls for him anymore anyway."
As a matter of fact, I fell over and laded on my right knee the other morning while I was walking (hobbling) out to see how he was after stepping on a tiny pebble and had trouble getting myself back up to my feet and that was before I lifted him into the car.
Between cancer, arthritis, diabetes and **** knows what else I don't really know which one of us is going to last the longer! :redface:
He is on a course of Prednisone tablets over at least the next three weeks to try and sort out the arthritic inflammation in his spine which has caused all this latest problem.
