Here is a GNR fan, I was raised on the greatest hits album and loved it. I hadn't been waiting for a new album. After the first couple false release dates I gave up hope and waited for something tangible. However. I am severely disappointed with Chinese Democracy. It did not help Axel at all to take so much time to do this. He overdid every song. There is just too much going on that all of the simplicity of GNR is gone. All I want is that kick ass guitar and some screaming Axel, not all of this in-studio bullcrap that they've pulled on this album. Disappointed GNR fan to say the least.
