The book was about as bad as the title. Fame as a newspaper sports reporter and as a humorist I guess. Andy Rooney type. Has a lot of books out there, but this is the first I had heard of him. Spends a lot of time poking fun at the newspaper industry. Sort of a bio from when he was a boy selling newspapers up to his employment at the time of the book. Grew up in Georgia and spent most of his career there, until taking a job in Chicago, hence the title, as he was trying to get back to Georgia which he regretted leaving. You can never go home Lewis. Written in 1990 and the dude died in '94. Don't know if he ever got back.
