STEVIE RAY VAUGHAN & DOUBLE TROUBLE "texas flood" cd,1983.

Stevie's debut set came at a time,when commercially speaking, Blues Rock was at an all-time low on the charts...even Slow-Hand-Eric struggled to keep his audience around this period!
now, im not a big fan of the blues but i think this is a very good album....lots of great blues riffs on here, and Stevie's vocals are true to the genre,
several covers on here, track 3(larry davis), track 4(howlin' wolf),track 5(isley brothers) and track 7(buddy guy), the rest are self composed tracks,a couple of blues instrumentals on board here also...both of which i do like.
its a shame Stevie had to die in a helicopter crash just seven years after his debut as he sure had one hell of a career ahead of him, and if any of the superb live youtube links are anything to go by, he put on one one heck of a performance live in concert!
