I remember some people talking about BCC, so I figured I'd post this here and see what you guys think. Their new album, "Afterglow," is going to be released October 30th apparently. They've posted some samples of the album at bccommunion.com, plus there's a little article with a track-by-track rundown from Hughes at http://bccommunion.com/?p=98.
Looks pretty solid to me, though it looks like Bonamassa will have significantly less singing time than previous. That's kind of a bummer for me, I really love the contrast between him and Hughes. But the album sounds pretty good overall. I'm trying to keep my expectations low because BCC 2 was just so great in my opinion. Afraid of a letdown (Gotta be the worst part about a band putting out a great album, isn't it? Worrying about, or having, the next one not be quite as good.
).
Also, pretty incredible for Bonamassa to have this come out. He did a live album and a full studio album a little earlier this year. 3 albums essentially, that's just ridiculous devotion to the trade.
