I am curently reading a biography on Mary Boleyn. I love English History, and she and her sister were both notorious.....the book is by Alison Weir
Don't worry about criticism. It's healthy and it also gives you perspective. I dabble with my own music. Some people think it's complete crap and other people love and have purchased it (much to my pleasant surprise I have to say). As a result of a small number of sales (but growing) it has given me the impetus to put out an album before the end of the year. Don't ever be discouraged by negative opinions. 99% of people who give bad reviews have probably never made the effort to do something themselves. As the saying goes, they've never built a statue to pay homage to a critic. Not yet anyway.
By the way where do I find this poetry of yours? If I like it I'll buy it. Send me a link or something.
