Different cover from mine, but sadly the contents are probably the same. I have a Kinky Friedman album which is ok, Lasso From El Paso. I should have passed on the book. Close to the writing style of the Don Imus book I read a while back. They are good friends, so not sure who's copying who. A lot of bad humor. Story line is a down and out musician who turns detective after his friends tell him he would be good at it. He's not. Dumbest part is the ending where he comes to from being knocked out by falling plaster to discover it was all a dream. The whole friggin book was a dream. Only wish my reading of it would have been a dream. Would have taken a lot less time.
Grade - F
next up - The Fleecing Of America by William Proxmire
