Don't think I was as thrilled as Tracy and the hatchetman but it was pretty good. Have to consider that this is written for a much younger audience. Hard for me to wrap my brain around the futuristic premise, government sponsored games where teenagers are sent into an arena to kill each other. Just a thought, don't participate. But they do, 24 of them, a fight to the death. A little romance thrown in to the mix. For those in the dark, this is a trilogy, of which this is book 1. The wife has already read the second one which I will get to at some point. There was an ending to this one and it's now a huge movie hit. Guess I'll see it someday. According to an interview with Ms. Collins, she actually got the idea for this from the tv show Survivor. Maybe if they killed each other on there, I would watch it.
