Yes the Classics ring true , LMF !!! I recently re-read Crime and Punishment and I still enjoyed it after many years !!!..The Woodstock book looks enticing...I love to read books on music !!!

Read through it a couple days ago. ******* incredible. As good as everyone claims. Never had to read it for school, but my family found an old, rotting copy, so I grabbed it before we tossed it.
I've since moved onto finishing;
I'm a couple of bands into the Saturday lineup and so far its pretty great. Nice easy reading. Each chapter is a performance and all these quotes from people involved about it. Very easy episodic reading that creates an impressive visual of the event. I'm loving this. I'd recommend it to any hippie/Woodstock lovers who couldn't make it. Unless it gets terrible in the last couple of chapters or something. Author's certainly biased towards bands he likes and dislikes though, but I already knew that from reading another of his work's ("The History of Rock N' Roll" or something along those lines.).
The ultimate connection is between a performer and its' audience!
