Jerome Wrote:Genesis - Seconds Out - one of my all-time favourite live albums with superb drumming from Bruford, Collins and Thompson. This was their last great performance before they slipped off the edge into Hollywoodland with songs about not being able to dance and all those bland videos and silly pop lyrics about nothing in particular. Of course they did it for the money and who can blame them, but they really should have returned to more experimental stuff once the bank accounts had been topped up. Instead all they did was rehash the old classics for world tours etc. - to top up the bank accounts once again naturally. Pity really. By the way I am going to be shot down in flames here, but I did not like Genesis, when Gabriel was in the band, even though he was responsible for a lot of the material on offer. He was 100 tiimes better as a solo performer. If you ever get the chance watch a DVD called 'Secret World'. Quite incredible what he came up with.
