Well, that implies that you can actually be objective about sarcasm and whether a statement is sarcastic or not, if you're a person other than the person who is being sarcastic. I don't think my relative inability to ascertain someone's sarcasm, much less on the interwebs, makes me more or less ignorant than someone else. Or maybe it does? I don't think you can determine my level of ignorance based on a completely subjective matter (i.e. deducing whether something is sarcastic or not, without the input of the person who is being sarcastic/not sarcastic).
